Trade Waste
in South Manchester and Cheshire

Since 1 April 2025 our trade waste service has four streams, in line with the government’s Simpler Recycling rules for workplaces: black bins for general waste, blue bins for card and paper, grey bins for dry mixed recycling (tins, glass and plastic) and green bins for food waste. We can also collect glass separately in 240-litre bins if you need it.

We agree a collection frequency with you based on how much waste your business produces, and general waste bins can be emptied as often as you need.

No. We operate a zero-landfill policy. Recycling is recycled, food waste goes to anaerobic digestion, and anything that can’t be recycled is sent to energy-from-waste.

General waste and card and paper bins come in 240, 360, 660 and 1,100 litres, which hold roughly 4, 7, 14 and 20 black bin bags. Dry mixed recycling bins are usually 240 litres and food waste bins are usually 140 or 240 litres, with larger sizes available on request.

No. We don’t charge for duty of care, bin rental or excess weight, and our contracts run on a rolling monthly basis so you can adjust them if your needs change.
